On Nov. 1, 2005, Nova Scotia Power's Open Access Transmission Tariff will come into effect.

Nova Scotia Power (NSP) has contracted with the NBSO to provide and operate their OASIS.

The NSP OASIS is integrated with the NBSO's OASIS so as to allow users a single access point for requesting transmission that crosses the NB/NS border from either OASIS site.

Reservations that cross the border will bear both the NBSO and NSP transmission tariff rates. The combined rates will be reflected in the pricing of relevant offerings on both OASIS systems.
