Notice of Amendment to Market Rules

In accordance with Section 60 of the Electricity Act (New Brunswick) and Market Rule 3B.4.3, New Brunswick System Operator publishes the attached amendment to the Market Rules.

This amendment takes effect on March 10, 2006.

The Market Advisory Committee (MAC) reviewed the proposed amendment and at a meeting held October 17, 2005, the MAC approved the proposed amendment and submitted its report recommending its adoption to the Board of Directors of the New Brunswick System Operator. The Board reviewed the report and recommendations of the MAC and approved the adoption and implementation of the amendment at a meeting held December 15, 2005.

Section 60 of the Electricity Act provides that any person may apply to the New Brunswick Board of Commissioners of Public Utilities for a review of any of the amendments in question within 30 days of the publication of this notice.
