Notice of Amendment to Market Rules

In accordance with Section 60 of the Electricity Act (New Brunswick) and Market Rule 3B.3.2, New Brunswick System Operator publishes the amendments to the Market Rules .

The Market Advisory Committee (MAC), at a meeting held August 28, 2006, reviewed the proposed amendments and subject to further minor revisions, recommended their adoption in its report (posted on this website September 15, 2006) to the Board of Directors of the New Brunswick System Operator. The Board reviewed the report and recommendations of the MAC and approved the adoption and implementation of the amendments at a meeting held September 20, 2006.

Section 60 of the Electricity Act provides that any person may apply to the New Brunswick Board of Commissioners of Public Utilities for a review of any of the amendments in question within 30 days of the publication of this notice.

All amendments take effect on November 1, 2006.
