Notice of Amendments to Market Rules

In accordance with section 60 of the Electricity Act (New Brunswick) and Market Rule 3B.4.3, New Brunswick System Operator publishes the attached amendments to the Market Rules (pdf).

These amendments take effect on November 1, 2005.

Notice of these amendments was published on this website on July 6, 2005 in accordance with Market Rule 3B.2.1. The Market Advisory Committee reviewed the proposed amendments, and the committee’s report and recommendation to the NBSO respecting the amendments was published on August 17, 2005 ,in accordance with Market Rule 3B.3.2. The Board of Directors of the NBSO reviewed the report of the Market Advisory Committee and unanimously approved the adoption and implementation of the amendments at a meeting held August 25, 2005.

Section 60 of the Electricity Act provides that any person may apply to the New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board for a review of any of the amendments in question within 30 days of the publication of this notice.
