Report of the Market Advisory Committee

In accordance with Market Rule 3B.3.2, the Market Advisory Committee (MAC) hereby advises the Board of Directors of New Brunswick System Operator (NBSO) that the MAC has fully reviewed a proposed amendment to the Market Rules, which proposal was published on the NBSO website on November 24, 2006. The proposed amendment would reduce the required lead time for revisions to Dispatch Data from 2 hours to 1 hour. (Market Rule 6.10.5B)

The MAC further advises the Board that, at a meeting held November 27, 2006, the MAC unanimously approved the proposed amendment, subject to any further questions or comments resulting from the above-noted publication. No such questions or comments were received by the December 11, 2006 deadline for submission of same.

On the basis of the foregoing, the Market Advisory Committee recommends the adoption and implementation of the above-described amendment to the Market Rules.
