Transmitters are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and reading of meters at injection and withdrawal points on the system-operator controlled grid in New Brunswick. Generation owners are responsible for the purchase of meters for their generation facilities, and the transmitter is responsible for the cost of the meters at load customer locations. NBSO uses the metering data to perform its settlement function, and also makes the data available to the respective market participants.
