Transmission Planning
NBSO transmission planning consists of power system analysis and modeling to facilitate
both short-term system maintenance and medium to long-term system upgrades and additions.
Planning ensures adequacy of the generation supply, adequacy of transmission capacity
and the ability of the power system to withstand any single contingency. A single
contingency is the loss of one or more transmission elements or a loss of any single
generator source.
