The New Brunswick Electricity Act requires NBSO to work with responsible authorities outside New Brunswick to coordinate their activities with the system operator’s activities. NBSO is a member of the Northeast Power Coordinating Council (NPCC) and actively participates on various committees, task forces and working groups to conduct regular reliability assessments of conformance to NPCC criteria, guides, and procedures.
